Violet's spring/summer 2009 adventures

It's been a very busy year for our young lady. She turned three in June and had a quite memorable fiesta at the inimitable Chuck E. Cheese. She also had her first eye exam, took a summer camp class at a local park (which was the first time she spent time on her own with non-family members) and took her first dance class and even performed in a little recital. The busy year will continue as we're going on a family vacation in a week which will be directly followed by Violet's first official day of pre-school. Pre-school! Expect updates and, of course, photos. Until then, enjoy this montage of recent activity. Yes, she does like to lock herself in the dog crate with Django sometimes.

Winter 2009

Hey everyone, Dad here again. Here's some random pics of Violet's recent activity. Mostly engaged in games of dress-up as it's been too cold out to do much besides indoor activities. It hasn't even been a good snowman winter with the exception of the one day featured here. Anyway, enjoy the new pics. I posted these on Facebook as well for those of you who frequent that social behemoth. Take care. More updates will be forthcoming. Halloween!

Just a quick update to share these awesome Halloween shots of Violet in her Supergirl costume. I know this is the first update since Summer but we've been quite busy. Violet is growing up so quickly and continues to amaze us. With Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up, there will most certainly be more photos in the works so stay tuned and enjoy these Halloween pics.

Summer Adventures and a birthday

It's Summer! I also have been a horrible dad and haven't updated this in a while, which is sad considering I spend all of my time at home on the computer (albeit working or "working"). Violet's mental growth seems to have skyrocketed, particularly when it comes to vocabulary. She seems to have a handful of new words every day. She also had her second birthday unbelievably and it was quite fun and she naturally soaked all the attention up as any two-year-old would. She also had her first swim class at the YMCA, which I took photos of but none of them are very clear. I took video as well, which is much better. Here are some other random photos of her birthday and a few nice everyday shots. Enjoy and I/we promise to keep this more up-to-date.

This is Dad here again. I know it's been a while again since the last post, but between the holiday madness, Mom's new job, and our usual various family functions and personal endeavors, it's difficult to find time to post (that's not really true, we're just lazy).
