Talk about a great tooth shot!

So much has happened in the last couple of weeks.

Violet has grown and gotten so much more active in her little world. She is log-rolling across the room and she is moments from crawling! She is pulling herself up into position, but she just hasn't figured out yet that she can move that way! (Whew! - give us a day to adjust my little squiggle worm!)

She is also standing very well with help from the couch and is pulling herself up to standing on anything she can grab hold of. (Here she is, using me as a ladder and concentrating very hard! :) )

Day before yesterday she clapped entirely on her own! Hands together, apart, together, amazing! (I never thought I could be so excited about such a simple hand gesture - I guess I should prepare myself for others, but no naughty ones for a while, please! :) )

She started her Gymboree class last week and we all (the whole family) subsequently got really bad colds. The first cold! It was fairly easy for Violet though. A little baby Vics, her humidifier and some Cold/Tylenol and she felt much better. It's cleared up almost completely for all of us now too. The class was fun though and we go again tomorrow.

Tonight she is having a slumber party at grandma & grandpa's. Mike and I are going to Chicago for dinner and a date. (I needed one of those! (Louie - private joke))
