Violet the Amazing!

Summer like weather at last! With 80 degree temps., we had to spend some time outside. We also painted the kitchen this day. (What a job!) We still aren't done with that project, but what a glorious day! (Mike loves this picture of Miss V and her grandma - which grandma may kill me for putting up without permission. :) )

Vi has started crawling! AMAZING! The thing that seems to really get her moving is putting the dog dish (it's chrome and shiny) on the floor a few feet from her. Scary, I know. We have to be sure to get to it before she does! Im sure it's okay, just covered in Sassy slobber. (Like half of everything else in our house :) ).
Here she is taking a couple of moves forward. She also likes to go backwards.

On the sleep front, there have been troubles. She has been staying up later and getting hungry at 11:00 PM like she did when she was tiny. We've chocked (is that a word?) it up to all the changes she is going through and the extra tooth that is coming up. (She can now bite down and clamp on with her newfound upper and lowers.) Ouch! hee!
